Rossville Elementary School is a Title 1 School located right across the state line from Chattanooga, Tennessee in beautiful Walker County, Georgia. Our 525 students, in PreK-5th grade, have specialized teaching from over 60 highly qualified teachers, paraprofessionals and support staff.

We believe that a lifelong love of learning begins here, in elementary school.

We strive to give our students, not just knowledge, but also life skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. We use the workshop model where students explore their own ideas and are challenged to think, reason and problem-solve on a daily basis. We also incorporate technology into our classrooms with iPads, SMARTboards, Promethean boards and document cameras.

School for RES students does not end at 2:15 for our 3rd-5th graders. We currently offer Art Club, LEGO Robotics, and Chorus after school each week.

At Rossville Elementary, we believe that “Adventures in Learning” start here. That means that we give our students the opportunity to learn more about themselves, the world around them, and dare to dream about their amazing futures.
